Why I'd hand it to you
Dave Ramsey lays out his Baby Steps: a starter emergency fund, paying off debts smallest to largest, then building savings, investing and giving. It is simple on purpose, and for families stuck in debt, the clarity and the stories of people who got out can be a real turning point. Now the honest part. It is strict, no credit cards ever, and some of his investing assumptions are more optimistic than many planners would use. The faith framing is woven throughout, which some readers love and others won't. If you need a plan and some motivation more than nuance, it works.
