Why I'd hand it to you
Nicole Apelian and Claude Davis built this as a field guide and remedy book in one. It covers a wide range of medicinal plants found across North America, with color photos, notes on where they grow and how to prepare them as teas, tinctures, poultices and salves. It speaks to homesteaders, foragers and anyone who wants to know what grows nearby. Know that the format is encyclopedic, so it is a reference to dip into rather than read straight through. And photos only go so far for identification. Learning the plants in person, ideally with someone experienced, makes the book much more useful.
