Why I'd hand it to you

Kamala Harris tells the story of her short presidential campaign, which began when Joe Biden left the race in the summer of 2024 and ended with her loss in November. She covers the choices, the pressure and how the race looked from the inside. Here is the honest framing: this is a candidate's own account of a campaign she lost, so it carries her perspective throughout. Readers who supported her may find it candid and revealing, while others will read it as a defense of her choices. It works best for people who follow politics closely and want a primary source on a historic election.
