Why I'd hand it to you
Joyce Meyer teaches that our thoughts shape our lives, and that with God's help we can recognize and replace the negative patterns that keep us stuck in worry, doubt and anger. She draws on her own story of childhood abuse and healing, and the book is practical and full of Scripture. Many people have found real encouragement here. A fair caution: the spiritual warfare framing won't suit every Christian tradition, and some readers may be tempted to treat clinical anxiety or depression as only a spiritual problem. It works best alongside good counsel and, where needed, medical care, not in place of it.
