Why I'd hand it to you
Mary Roach asks what happens to bodies donated to science, and the answers take her to anatomy labs, crash-test facilities, body farms and stranger places. She writes with curiosity and a lot of humor, yet she stays respectful of the people whose bodies made the research possible. You may come away thinking differently about body donation. Obviously, this one isn't for the squeamish. The descriptions are frank, and the jokes come constantly, which some readers will find out of place for the subject. If you have a strong stomach and like quirky science writing, it is a lot of fun.
